Composed on his 60th birthday, this retrospective ballad features the beautiful lyrical flugelhorn of George Rabbai on the Power of Ten CD Earth Tones. Ballad and double time bossa feels throughout. Piano is also featured briefly as a soloist.

Tapestry

Rick was part of the  “Boomer” generation that couldn’t get enough of Carole King’s Tapestry album.  He couldn’t resist the temptation to take a second look at the title tune from this landmark recording, giving it a fresh new sound. Ample solo space is provided for piano, guitar, and choices between trumpet, alto and tenor. Power of Ten recorded this on their CD Earth Tones.
